LOOKLET new head office.
FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON is commissioned to design the new head office of swedish fashion company LOOKLET. This young and exciting company will move in to their brand new office in the during this summer, so please check back for images of that project. For now it will have to due with a picture of Marcus experimenting with the light in this beautiful 19th century factory located at Södermalm in Stockholm.

FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON just delivered 5 brand new FRAME benches to Uppsala Resecentrum (Uppsala Travel Centre). We where asked to fill the FRAME modules with swedish pine painted in the graphic program of Jernhusen AB, the company buidling the Travel Centre. This project is one of biggest architectprojects in the history of the city Uppsala. FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON is off course very proud to be a small part of this huge project. The architects behind the interior is Wester & Elsner through Jenny Söderström.

FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON. The Swedish trend analytics group “Trendgruppen” has recently announced the “Design-rockets” of 2009. This year, we are happy to announce that they choose Kristoffer Fagerström & Marcus Abrahamsson, FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON, to represent the most promising young designers of 2009.

Marcus exhibits in Tokyo!
Marcus Abrahamsson, of FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON will travel to Tokyo to exhibit with Swedish Style in Tokyo! If you are there during the Tokyo Design week and want to hook up, this is where I will be!

Kristoffer exhibits in Krakow!
“What is ethno design?” in Krakow, Poland”: Invited by the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow, Poland, Kristoffer Fagerström from FAGERSTRÖM & ABRAHAMSSON presents the Elsa easy chair as a part of the exhibition “What is ethno design?” Extract from the press-kit: Designers get inspirations from ethnography and local heritage in various ways. And ‘ethno-design’ can be interpreted in various ways. During the exhibition we are going to present how the traditional structure, material, decorational motifs or texture are re-worked and newly interpreted by contemporary designers. During the exhibitions will be presented projects by Polish and foreign designers, like: Sitag, Ikea, Iittala, Vox, Boogie Bags, Scandinavianliving, Contraforma, Yksi Ontwerp, 5.5 and others.…
